Absurd

A pickle wore pajamas made of toast,

And challenged a coffee bean to roast

The carrot danced with two green balloons

Conducted by bewildered shiny spoons.

Flip-flop, flibberty, wobble-dee-whoo,

The llamas are learning to yodel too!

Wibble-wobble, doodly-doo,

If it sounds absurd, then it must be true!

A grumpy teacup roller-skated by,

While purple pancakes floated through the sky.

The monkey played a tuba for a snail,

Who paid admission with a rusty nail.

A kangaroo knitted socks for a trout,

A donut taught a whisper how to shout.

My hat grew wings and flew away,

And mailed a postcard yesterday.
