From Valencia to Greece

4 AM, we're at the gate,

Sleepy eyes and heavy weights,

Two planes, one bus, a wild race,

Zurich sprint—oh, what a chase!

Families stressed, the bags might stray,

Tiny boot, no room, oh dear!

Twelve long hours to finally land,

Adventure's start, just as we planned.

From Valencia to Greece,

With gyros, snow, and missing peace,

Pillows thin, and walls so light,

Jaume’s bed-making’s pure delight.

We laugh, we run, we learn, we grow,

Through sun or snow, or breakfast slow,

We’re loud, we’re late, but still we shine—

This Erasmus trip is one of a kind!

Morning alarms, they come too fast,

At breakfast, they arrive dead last.

"If you're late, you’ll have to race,"

New rule set with a teacher face.

Gyros daily, meat non-stop,

They're dreaming now of grapes on top—

“Blueberries are grapes!” Matías said,

They miss some green on every spread!

From Valencia to Greece,

With gyros, snow, and missing peace,

Pillows thin, and walls so light,

Jaume’s bed-making’s pure delight.

We laugh, we run, we learn, we grow,

Through sun or snow, or breakfast slow,

We’re loud, we’re late, but still we shine—

This Erasmus trip is one of a kind!

At school they thrive, they don’t want to go,

Shocked by breaks after each class, though!

Six straight hours, no time to live,

"How do they manage?" the Greeks just give.

Sports get fierce, no matter where,

Team pride rising in the air.

And though Miguel forgot his coat—

Snowball fights? They still did float!

Telegram was once so still,

Now it’s buzzing, voice notes spill.

“Merengue, merengue!” echoes fly,

Cultural bonds reaching the sky.

We hope next year in Spain they’ll play,

With words and smiles they’ve learned today.

Because in every laugh and glance,

We’ve built more than just a dance.

From Valencia to Greece,

Where chaos turns to lasting peace.

With tiny boots and beds too tight,

Still every moment feels just right.

We’ve grown, we’ve tripped, but made it through,

This journey shines in every view—

Dear Greece, we’ll miss you when we part,

But this adventure stays in the heart.
